1. Service scope
Remote USB Recovery provides remote software-based inspection and, when appropriate, remote logical data recovery for Windows and macOS computers. We do not provide clean-room or physical laboratory recovery.
2. Eligibility
The customer must have a Windows or macOS computer and lawful authority to access the device and data. We may decline or stop a session if physical failure, instability, illegal activity, or unsafe conditions are suspected.
3. No guarantee
Data recovery is inherently uncertain. We do not guarantee that any file, folder, partition, or percentage of data can be recovered.
4. Customer responsibilities
You are responsible for accurate information, stable internet access, control of your computer, lawful ownership or authorization, and avoiding further writes to the affected drive.
5. Booking and diagnostic fee
Booking is free. Pay USD25 immediately before diagnosis; we begin only after payment is confirmed. If you proceed with recovery, the full USD25 is credited toward the final fee. Cancel before diagnosis without a booking charge. Please cancel at least 2 days ahead whenever possible. 6. Remote access
Remote access is limited to diagnosis and agreed recovery work. You may terminate the remote session at any time, but work already performed and applicable fees may remain due.
7. Physical-risk cases
If abnormal noises, unstable power, severe overheating, water, impact, fire, or other physical symptoms are observed, we may instruct you to power down the device immediately.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, liability for claims arising from a remote inspection or recovery service is limited to the amount paid for the service giving rise to the claim, except where such limitation is prohibited by law.
9. Prohibited use
Do not use the service to access data you are not legally authorized to access or to facilitate unlawful conduct.
10. Changes
These terms may be updated as the service changes. The version published at the time of booking applies to that booking unless otherwise required by law.
